Who We Are
Our Approach
At Pageturn Projects, we prioritize tools and methods that deliver efficiency and results.

Owner Driven Planning
Architects and contractors may change from project to project, but as the owner, you are the constant throughout your capital program. By taking control of your budgets, schedules, and risk management, you ensure the success of the entire program, not just individual projects.
Graphics Speak Louder Than Words
Diagrams, graphs, and dashboards quickly convey ideas, bridge knowledge gaps, and highlight key concepts. Data visualization is the cornerstone of impactful project management reporting.
Do More With Less
We embrace entrepreneurial project management—maximizing returns on investments (ROI) and achieving more with less. Turn constraints into innovation and challenges into opportunities.
Transparency is Trust
Set clear expectations and identify potential risks for stakeholders. Celebrate successes, capture lessons learned, and deliver data-driven reports throughout the process.
Our Goals
After years of successfully leading large-scale projects for renowned architecture firms, school districts, and alongside innovative companies like Google, Nathan Thome noticed a critical issue: poor upfront planning constantly led to missed goals, budget overruns, and cancelled projects. In 2024, Pageturn Projects was created to redefine the owner's role in education projects, prioritize project goals, and build cohesive teams that do their best work.

A: "Watching students thrive in new facilities is an unparalleled reward. Early in my career, it was disheartening to see school projects canceled due to poor planning and budgeting. However, working directly with teachers and staff as an owner’s representative taught me how to drive success and create meaningful change. Educational design, when done right, connects deeply to your soul. By bringing the best practices from other industries into our work, we can elevate educational design to new heights."
Q: What inspired you to work in school districts over other industries?
Q: What do you think is the biggest opportunity for improvement in school capital projects today?
A: "Do the work early, when impact is the highest. Proper implementation planning will set you up for success better than anything else. Too many districts rely on outdated, manual processes that waste time and resources. By embracing automation, better data management, and clear communication, we can make capital programs faster, more efficient, and more impactful."
Q&A with Founding Principal, Nathan Thome:
Q: How do you approach project management differently than traditional firms?
A: "Traditional project management is slow, reactive, and overly complicated. At Pageturn Projects, we simplify things, turning complexity into control. We focus on proactive, high-impact planning, empowering school districts to take charge. With lean, tech-forward strategies and a commitment to transparency, we help districts make informed decisions and ensure future success."
Q: What do you enjoy most about working with school districts?
A: "Working with genuine people who deeply care about student success. Teachers are some of the most passionate individuals I’ve met, and parents push district staff because they want their children to thrive. Delivering projects like athletics facilities, wellness centers, and special education spaces is incredibly rewarding and shapes lives. Being part of a community that cares inspires me to deliver my best for them."
